About This Project
This project was completed in two phases. It began with our client’s desire for a hot tub rather than an in-ground pool, allowing for year-round use and relaxation. From there, we divided the design into two key sections. The first phase focused on creating the hot tub area, featuring an elegant brick paver layout that enhances both functionality and style. The second phase introduced a beautiful low-level deck complemented by brick retaining walls, seamlessly tying the entire outdoor space together. We also created a breathtaking outdoor kitchen and multiple fire pits throughout the space.
Project Challenges
Running gas, water, and electrical lines outdoors requires proper permits, professional installation, and thorough weatherproofing to ensure safety and compliance with local building codes. This aspect of the project presented a challenge, as it often depended on external parties to process and expedite the necessary permits. Additionally, careful consideration was given to material selection—every element, from countertops to cabinetry, needed to withstand exposure to sun, rain, heat, and freezing temperatures without warping, rusting, or fading.
